Yesterday I found out a good friend of mine, Tan Jun Jie Jordan, was hospitalised and in critical condition.

Today, I went to visit him at NUH. He was in coma. Everyone was there, his friends from poly, secondary and family members. It was a very different scene, looking at him, a fit and healthy person, became like this. It was very touching to see his mother talk to him, trying to wake him up from his deep sleep. The bad news came, after i have left for school that evening, when the doctor confirmed that he was brain dead. I could only imagine the scene at that time. How devastated it would be for his parents. Tears pooled on my eye bags.. Only a miracle would save him now. Even if he could just open his eyes for one last time. I dont support Euthanasia and hopes he regains consiousness.

From what i know, Jordan suffered a blood clot in his brain and fainted on Tuesday, and underwent a surgery to remove part it but was found that he had low platelet level and unable to continue with the operation. Doctors confirmed today,12Feb, 4pm that he is now brain dead, and are giving him 10 days to come to, after which his heart will cease to function. Lets all pray for a miracle
